Sumner Place Receives a Deficiency Free Rating!

We are proud to announce that we have received a Deficiency Free DHHS State Survey!

In the most recent survey administered by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Sumner Place Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation was rated deficiency free! It is unusual for a skilled nursing facility to receive a deficiency free survey – meaning all services provided at this facility meet or exceeded all state and federal standards.

All skilled nursing facilities are inspected annually to evaluate services and renew state licensure. Unannounced, surveyors come in to interview, observe, and check records. If each of the hundreds of regulations are met, the skilled nursing and care center is awarded a “deficiency free” survey.
